Before indoor plumbing was installed in the farmhouse in the 1990’s, a bath house on the grounds served Bailey Farm’s families. Gravity-fed water from Ayer Mountain was piped to a pedestal tub and deep porcelain sink. In 2008, the bath house was renovated into a charming studio complete with a little black stove for warmth in December and windows that swing open to let in lilac-scented breezes in May.
